Lauren and Mike's Fall Wedding

So it’s been awhile since I blogged, I’ve been busy but busy is good!

Last year I met up with these two for their engagement shoot in Valley Forge, if you haven’t checked out that post it’s certainly worth a look, we picked up right where we left off when I arrived to shoot their wedding.

The girls were holed up in the bridal suite getting ready…

And the boys… well the boys were at the beer cart waiting for the girls to come down…

Perhaps my favorite part of this wedding was their vows they wrote themselves in which they pledged to support each other through tough soccer matches and promised to take care of each other even when they were hungover, things we can all aspire to.

We snuck down to some railroad tracks and the creek by their venue for some of my favorite shots of the day, if this doesn’t scream fall wedding I don’t know what does.

Then it was time to party!

And last but not least, I’ve had this picture in my head since they told me the wedding was on a farm, and we executed! For real though, do you know how hard it is to stand still for even a couple seconds after drinking and dancing your face off all night? Congrats to the new couple, cheers to many years of happiness!

Kait and Joe's Holiday Mini Session

A week ago I got to work with Kait, Joe, and their dog Remmy. They needed a new holiday card and it had been awhile since they had gotten any pictures done, so we met at Scottsdale Civic Center Park and made some magic.

These guys were so much fun, and Remmy was adorable, especially when he sprouted antlers. A little backstory, I had suggested we meet where we did because I'm from Philly and I love the LOVE statue, I found out from Joe that it was actually where they got engaged!

We made sure to get a couple good ones with them in front of it, they were more than happy to oblige! Holiday Card? Mission Accomplished. We had a couple minutes left and wanted a couple more with Remmy... but there was a SQUIRREL!

We let Remmy ham it up for a couple more minutes then did one more just for fun, and it oozes love. Probably one of the most Arizona pictures I've taken, and one of my favorites from this shoot. Lauren and Mike's Engagement Shoot

I was recently back east in Philly and had the pleasure of doing an engagement shoot with my former soccer teammate Lauren and her fiancee, Mike, at Valley Forge Park. It was an overcast day, it almost felt like it was going to rain the whole time, but these two brought the sunshine!

We went to Washington Memorial Chapel joined by their 2 dogs, Riley and Stark. They certainly made things exciting! Behind every good shot there were a few of these, these two pups had a lot of energy. Glad we had backup... with treats. 

This place had so many cool places to shoot and I think we hit every one of them. Blue doors, red doors, parapets, and monuments. These shots are also in the Engagement Shoot Gallery!

I loved getting to know these two, and this is probably my favorite picture from the whole shoot. Earlier in the day I asked him to kiss her forehead and they told me they kiss each other's noses, I was lucky enough to catch it at the very end of our shoot. Looking forward to doing their wedding next year!
