I was booked through a friend last minute for a wedding in Sedona, something I had been looking to shoot for quite some time, and as soon as I pulled up to the church I knew I was in for a truly unique wedding.
I hadn’t met this couple prior to shooting their wedding so I didn’t know who they were, so I just started introducing myself to everyone and getting acquainted with the venue and figured it out as I went. It was a cowboy theme as both the bride and groom and their families worked on farms, it did not disappoint, everything was beautiful. This was one of the most relaxed weddings I’ve been to, there was just a certain warmth to everyone there and they all felt like family. During the reception they made sure I had a plate to eat, it was some of the best food I’ve had at a wedding, all prepared by the bride before hand. The BBQ pork, hearty sides, and the cake was absolutely delicious!
After the reception the bridal party all drove down to a spot I had previously scouted for sunset amongst the red rocks, Sedona put on a show for us! Needless to say the scout work paid off, and Lee Erin and Clint were absolutely in love with the spot and the final product.
If you’re planning a Sedona wedding (or anywhere for that matter), I’d be happy to help out! Check out the About section on my website for my contact information and rates!
